One Direction
Hey Guys! For this weeks post we thought we would post about another amazing band, One Direction.
1D first auditioned as solo artist on the X Factor in 2010, but got put together as a band during bootcamp. They consisted of 5 members Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne, Niall Horan and Zayn Malik unfortunately Zayn left and went solo 25 March 2015. They have 5 albums: Up all night, Take me home, Midnight Memories, Four and Made in the AM. Their first song What makes you beautiful was released in September 2011 and became number 1. In 2013, they released a movie called 'This is us' which was a documentary and a concert film about the band. At the end of 2015 they announced they would be taking a break (hiatus) which has been for over 700 days but we are hoping they come back soon 🤞.
Although we cannot pick a favourite song overall, my favourite song per album currently would be: Up all night- Taken + One thing , Take me home-c'mon c'mon +last first kiss, Midnight Memories-Better than words + Alive, Four-Change your ticket+18, Made in the AM-Temporary fix. My favourite member would be Louis (however i do love them all) because of how carefree he is and his sense of character.
Harry:
Since going solo harry has stared in Dunkirk along with Fionn whitehead which is a great movie and we highly recommend, it has also been nominated for 8 oscars. On May 11, he released his first solo album: Harry Styles and also released a making of the album film. He is on tour until july 2018 (unfortunately we didn't get tickets). My favourite song would be Only angel because it's upbeat and fun.
Liam:
On May 19 2017 he released strip that down and has also released get low, bedroom floor and for you. Liam also has a son named Bear Payne (with Cheryl).My favourite song of his would be Strip that down as it is energetic and happy.
Niall:
Niall has also released an album called Flicker and his first song 'This town' was released on September 29. Niall has also been on tour and is going back on tour later on in 2018. My favourite song of his would be Paper houses because it is different to other 1D solo songs and is very relaxed.
Louis:
Louis has released four songs: Just hold on, Back to you, Just like you and Miss you. He also took part in socceraid 2016 along with Niall (which i got to see) he also has performed at key 103 live last year in novemeber. My favourite song of his would be Just like you as it highlights how he is just like everyone else and faces the same problems as us.
Zayn:
Zayn released his album a year after he left One Direction. He is also dating Gigi Hadid, and has released a song with Taylor Swift called I don't wanna live forever.My favourite song of his is Cruel as its ubpeat and also catchy.
